SharkRoll

How a SharkRoll figure earns its place on our pages

We aim to give readers a clear, checkable picture of SharkRoll before they decide anything: what is offered, with which numbers and under which conditions. We are an independent information site and write for adults of 18 and over.

Some of our links may be commercial (affiliate) links, so we may earn income from them, but that income has no say in what a page states. A figure stays as the material gives it. A limit stays visible, and a condition keeps its full strength, whatever a link may earn.

How we keep pages accurate

Accuracy is a routine, not a one-off task:

  • Every figure and rule is traced to material we hold before it goes into a guide.
  • A fact that cannot be confirmed stays out of the guide until it can be.
  • Pages are checked again when the casino changes terms, and we change the wording to match.
  • A number used twice, in a table and in a paragraph for instance, is compared across both places so the two agree.
  • A worked sum is recalculated from the stated multiplier and the stated amount before it is published.

Each guide is read through before it goes live, looking for figures that disagree between sections, for conditions that read more softly than the material allows and for sentences a first-time reader could take two ways.

How a correction travels

Readers can spot what we miss, and we want to hear about it:

  • Send the correction through our contact form, naming the page and the sentence.
  • We check the claim against the material we hold.
  • If it holds, we fix the page and keep the fix visible in the next revision.
  • If it does not, we write back with the reason.

How we research a page

Where facts come from

We use published material about the casino and compare several pieces of it before a figure is used. Welcome tiers, wagering multipliers, deposit and payout ceilings, verification rules and responsible gambling tools are all handled this way, and a value that several pieces of material support is the one we publish.

Weighing differing material

Published write-ups sometimes differ on a headline figure or a condition. In that case we use the wording that survives comparison and phrase it with a plain qualifier such as “usually”, or we leave the point out of the guide.

How offers are described

An offer is described in the order a player meets it: the match percentage, the cap, the minimum deposit and then the wagering multiplier. The order keeps the condition beside the headline, so a reader sees the cost of a bonus at the same moment as its size.

Ageing figures

Bonus terms, limits and payment routes move over time. A guide carries the figures as our material states them at the time of writing, and a changed figure is amended in the guide the day we confirm it.

What stays out of our guides

Unverified claims and promises of winnings stay out of our guides. A guide describes how an offer works and what it asks of the player, and the result of any session is left to chance.
